To design and execute battery materials inspections (Karl Fischer Titrator, pH/Conductivity meter, viscosimeter, rheometer, ICP-OES, TGA/DSC);
To assist Quality Department with results analyses (Incoming Quality Inspection); prepare the reports;
To support all activities related to battery materials characterization, incl sample preparation and assigned equipment supervision;
To define and verify incoming inspection procedures for materials used in R&D and manufacturing;
To control that the results are properly organized, labelled/described, stored and backuped;
To manage the testing in external facilities (if in-house not possible); to assist with results analyses;
To supervise and mentor technicians and students/interns;
In collaboration with R&D, product developing and production team members to participate on troubleshooting the production issues;
To identify and report non-conformities in testing protocols; to support the necessary RCA and participate in investigation of final product failures or incidents;
To prepare reports according to testing requests an appropriate technical level;
To organize safe storage, handling, testing of batteries and battery materials in the laboratory; follow to fire safety regulations and standards;
To support the lab's quality management system by ensuring that workflow is in line with company standards and/or other relevant accreditations;
To follow all relevant health and safety regulations; track if laboratory users follow the rules.
